How to Measure Your Deity Idol
Three simple steps to measure Thakur Ji before ordering bespoke poshaks
Total Idol Height
Use a flexible tailor's tape to measure vertically from the top of the crown / head to the base of the lotus feet. Do not include separate wooden chowkis.
Gher / Altar Asan Space
Measure the round seating diameter (asan) on your altar to ensure the circular pleated poshak skirt spreads freely without folding against temple walls.
Arm Span & Posture
If your deity is holding a flute (bansuri), has elevated arms (Gaur Nitai), or has broad seated knees, share dimensions or photos on WhatsApp for custom cuts.
